Building the MJK-008 Chassis
FRONT ASSEMBLY:
Ensure that you apply only the minimum pressure onto axle when
tightening the grub screws in the front wheels. This will prevent 'pot'
marks from forming on the axle surface.

|
REAR ASSEMBLY: Attach
spur gear onto rear axle first before locating into chassis mounts. Fit
nylon spacers & right rear rim onto axle as close to bearings as
possible. However, ensure axle can still spin freely. You may also wish
to apply a mild loctite type glue between bearings and chassis to
minimise any movement.
Ensure that you apply only
the minimum pressure onto axle when tightening the grub screws in the
spur gear and rear wheels. This will prevent 'pot' marks from forming on
the axle surface.
Motor needs to be adjusted
in chassis mount to ensure pinion gear forms a close mesh with spur
gear.

THE FINAL STEP: If
tyres are dipped into a mild soapie solution, they will slip onto the
rim much easier. This technique will also ensure that tyres sit "truer"
on the rim. Place 'moulding dots' on tyre side wall to back face of rim.
